Yes this year, I was able to master a bokeh effect that I couldn’t last year. I received a new lens for my birthday in February with a focal of 1.8
With the right tool, It was really easy. This Christmas tree bokeh is closing my album perfectly!
New year Eve’s, I’m not a big fan of all the fireworks happening in the street, ( too dangerous and noisy ), so the years when we are together at home for new year Eve’s, we like to watch a good movie with good food & champagne. We watched ‘The secret life of pets’ and my boyfriends thought that I was like Gidget. 🙂
Vitamins, please! Homemade green smoothie time! We’ve received a Christmases / new year card from the neighbors so I decided to send some of my own. I found some pretty ones at the Hema. Later on, we went to the movie to see the ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’.It was in 3D and I loved it.
I’ve been binge watching the Netflix show, the OA. What a waste of my time! When did torture become entertaining? And there is not even a warning message like ‘viewer discretion advised… ‘ But the suspense is so high that I had to watch it until the end to know what happened. I thought that the end was ridiculous. I will definitely NOT watch season 2!
In the evening it’s time for some festive aperitif delight, smoke salmon & eel.

A lot of hydration…. Drinking the and I’m ready to watch the new season of Gilmore Girls! Why is there only 4 episodes? In the good old days, a season was composed of like 26 episodes of 56 / 59 minutes !
Anyway the new season is great and I can’t wait to see the next one!

We started the day we a skype video call with my family during breakfast to open our presents together. We then bake the marquise because it needs 24 hours freezing time. We still have some time to go outside in the park, my boyfriend is running, I cycle 🙂

We are invited for the 2nd Christmas day by a friend of us ( the Dutch celebrate the first Christmas day and the second Christmas day). We are in charge of the dessert and have decided to bake a ‘Marquise au chocolat’, ( chocolate Marquise), That my mother gave me the recipe. I need to go shopping for the ingredients but I can’t find some ‘crème Anglaise’ called here English custard, but they don’t sell it already made like you find it in France. After two shops and three differents supermarkets,  I have enough! We are
